Guila Muir is one of the few "Trainers of Trainers" in
the United States whose expertise reflects a quarter-century of
passion for participatory adult education. Guila is principal of
Guila Muir and Associates, a Seattle-based firm specializing in
the development of instructors, presenters and facilitators. Since
1981, she has enhanced the communication and training skills of
thousands of professionals. These include financial experts, judges,
specialists in biotechnology, education, and health, as well as
community activists and legislative leaders.
Guila's research and experience in adult education in England,
Thailand and Brazil built the foundation for her lively, practical
training sessions. She has a Masters degree in Adult Education
from Western Washington University. Guila remains a popular
speaker across the country and in Canada. Along with her
popular classes, she provides individual consultation in presentation
skills and curriculum design.

In 2005, Seattle University’s School of Education recruited
Guila to teach a variety of adult education courses. As an
adjunct professor, Guila teaches professionals at the Masters
and PhD. levels to design effective, lively educational sessions
based on the most current brain and learning research.
